Casework Success Stories

I reached out to Congressman Golden’s office for help with my long-term housing with the VA. The office was thorough, knowledgeable and timely. Best of all, they got results, which in the big picture is what meant the most to me as a veteran.

I didn’t know why the IRS was taking so long to send back our joint tax refund so I reached out to Congressman Golden’s office to see if they could help. They did an amazing job, helped us figure out what was going on, and were able to get us our returns fairly quickly after they started working with us. We’re grateful!

Congressman Golden’s office, and the congressman himself, put in months and months of work to help me get reimbursement for more than $3,000 of travel costs and co-pays for medical care after my service in Camp LeJeune. They even got the VA to consider changing their policies based on the experience I had. I could not have asked for anything better!

Congressman Jared Golden’s office was amazingly swift in responding to my query about my Economic Impact Payment (EIP)! From my initial call I found the congressman’s team to be truly responsive, caring, and efficient. They did better than I ever expected, and now I have my EIP in hand.

I reached out to Congressman Golden’s office after months of frustration trying to get my Veteran’s ID Card. With the help of his office, and after a whole lot of work, I received my ID. It would have been easy for them to give up or tell me no after a few months of effort, but they kept working it. I appreciate their persistence, and am happy to finally have my ID.
