Does Congress Deserve a Raise?

Earlier this month, Congress tried to give itself a pay raise. I don't think Congress deserves a raise, so I led a bipartisan group of 20 colleagues to block the pay increase.

Here are the facts: most members of Congress make $174,000 a year. The median household income in our district is about $48,000.
We stopped them once, but Congressional leaders aren't done pushing for a raise. We're hearing they may try again soon and if they do, I want to be sure I know how you feel about the issue. That's why I'm reaching out today to ask for your input.
