Golden to Hold Town Hall in Farmington

March 18, 2019

Golden will hear directly from Mainers at Franklin Memorial Hospital, discuss work to improve health care for Mainers

FARMINGTON, ME — Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) will hold a health care-focused town hall in Farmington, Maine on Tuesday, March 19 from 6-7 pm. At the event, Golden will answer questions from Mainers and discuss his work to lower costs and improve access to care in the state.

"I've been all around the Second District since taking office, meeting Mainers in their communities, listening to them, and finding ways we can work together to get things done for our state," said Congressman Golden. "I'm looking forward to hearing from folks in Franklin County and discussing solutions that make health care more affordable for everyone in our state."

Over his two and half months in office, Golden has made a priority of being open and accessible to his constituents. Since January, he has welcomed Mainers to open houses in each of his district offices, held open office hours around the state, and joined Q&A sessions with Mainers from the Maine AARP, University of Maine Fort Kent, the Maine AFL-CIO, and others.

The town hall is open to the public and free of charge. Since space is limited, anyone wishing to attend must pre-register using the link below.
