Golden Statement on 22nd Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) released the following statement to mark the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. 

“For so many of us, the emotions we feel on this solemn anniversary remain as raw as they were twenty-two years ago. There is a hole in the hearts of families everywhere, all this time later.

We cherish the thoughts of those who were lost, commemorate the first responders and military service members who selflessly answered the call of duty, and hold tightly the people in our lives today that mean the most. We find strength in each other and ensure the sacrifices of so many will not be forgotten.

On the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we renew our commitment to our country and to each other.” - Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02)
