LEWISTON – Ahead of the Maine Board of Environmental Protection’s anticipated Thursday vote to adopt California’s zero- and low-emission vehicle regulations, Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) released the following statement: 

WASHINGTON — The conference report of the Fiscal Year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) — the final version of the legislation — passed the House today. Using his position on the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) successfully secured numerous priorities sought by Mainers across the Second District, including important new benefits for servicemembers and their families.

WASHINGTON - Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) announced today his office’s nominees to the United States Service Academies – the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. To be considered for an appointment to a service academy, applicants must be nominated by an authorized nominating source, which includes Members of Congress.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. House of Representatives today passed H.R.357, the Ensuring Accountability in Agency Rulemaking Act, bipartisan legislation introduced earlier this year by Congressman Ben Cline (VA-06) and co-led by Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02).
