The lawmakers pressed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to work together to return to negotiations as soon as possible.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02), Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (ME-01) and Republican Congressman Don Young (AK-AL) introduced the bipartisan State Veterans Homes Domiciliary Care Flexibility Act today. The bill would allow more veterans, particularly those with early onset dementia, to receive affordable residential care at veterans homes across the country.

WASHINGTON — Continuing his mission to improve mental health care for his fellow American veterans, Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) introduced legislation today that would create a new pilot program to pioneer mental health telemedicine services for veterans in rural areas. Golden introduced the bill with a Republican Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03).
